After a two year hiatus due to the pandemic, this year’s staff awards celebration was special. A beautiful gala was set up on the beach with food, music, prizes and an awards ceremony. Appropriately themed “A Night of the Stars”, employees were recognized for their outstanding achievements.

Health and Wellness Champion
Healthy employees are happy and productive, which is why Kirsty Roberts, General Manager at Hamanasi, created and implemented a Wellness Program in 2016 to focus on all areas of health – physical, mental, emotional and financial well-being.
This award goes to the employee who shows the most commitment to health and wellness, both personally and professionally. This individual continuously works towards improving themselves and others with a positive impact. The champion participates in our wellness program and encourages and supports other employees to improve health and well-being. And the winner is:

As a Regenerative Resort, Hamanasi has been actively working towards improving not merely sustaining our environment. We seek to have a positive impact on our community and nature.
This award goes to the employee who genuinely makes improvements to the environment – not just at work, but all around them. The person works with the community by either participating or leading events, projects or initiatives for the betterment of the area. The person recognized for this year’s customer service award takes pride in providing the guests a vacation of a lifetime. He knows his customers well and listens for any opportunity to improve the guest experience. This person anticipated guests needs or wants and consistently takes action in making it happen! Every employee is an integral part of Hamanasi’s success. All of this is possible with the great leadership of our General Managers, Launce and Kirsty Roberts. Kirsty planned the gala and ensured that all would be recognized and be able to enjoy the evening. Launce provided the critical support. Their planning and dedication created such a memorable occasion and supercharged everyone going into our new season!
