Night Hike in Cockscomb Jaguar Preserve

Discover the rainforest at night! Visit the natural habitat of some of Belize's nocturnal animals in the world's only jaguar preserve. Your chances are good at seeing some fresh tracks an elusive jaguarundi, puma, jaguar or ocelot. Other animals you are likely to encounter on a night walk are foxes, opossums, owls, kinkajous, agoutis and coatimundis. Do you like creepy crawlies? Here's your opportunity see scorpions, spiders and snakes. Even the flora is interesting in the dark. There is something captivating about experiencing the rainforest at night!

Everyday, Hamanasi offers a barrier reef excursion and an inland excursion based on a preset schedule. These scheduled tours are included in package rates. Tours beyond the daily scheduled tours are not included in package rates but can be booked at the listed cost. All tours are accompanied by a licensed Belizean tour guide and include any permits needed. A PADI professional accompanies all dive trips.
